For nature enthusiasts, exploring the state parks in the area is a must-do. Visit Grayton Beach State Park or Topsail Hill Preserve State Park for hiking trails, birdwatching, and picnicking in serene natural settings. Where do I check-in?
You will have a SELF CHECK-IN process - no need to meet anyone or grab keys! A unique door code will be emailed to you one day prior to check-in.
Are there any ADDITIONAL cleaning fees?
Additional cleaning fees only apply when the house is left excessively dirty or in disarray. Please be respectful because this is our family home. Examples of items that may be subject to excessive cleaning are:
- If you move the furniture and we have to move it to its original position. Furniture should not be moved because it may damage the floors or the furniture.
- Dishes are left unwashed and/or left throughout the house. The dishwasher should be loaded and started before you leave. You do not have to wait for it to finish washing.
- Spills should be cleaned off the floors, counter tops and cabinets.
- Trash should be removed and placed in the trash bins. If your trash bin is full, leave the extra bagged trash sitting in the kitchen. Do not place it outside of the trash bin. The critters will have it everywhere!
- Sticky stuff all over the furniture.
- Spills on the carpet.
- Spills on the furniture.
- Stained sheets and linens. The house is equipped with a washer and dryer. If your linens get stained, please wash them to remove the stains. If you or someone in your group gets sick, clean it up and remove all trash containing vomit or you will be charged.
- Excess sand or dirt throughout the home
Note: Don't fret about cleaning. We aim not to impose any charges. Occasionally, fees may be necessary depending on how the home is left. We have to clarify the fees for those who may not be aware. Standard use typically doesn't call for additional cleaning, so unwind and make the most of your vacation.
Do you provide daily maid service?
No, sorry we do not provide daily maid service. There will be basic cleaning supplies for daily cleaning during your stay.
Is there cell phone service in the area?
Indeed, cell phone service is available in the 30A area! Whether you need to make calls, send messages, or stay connected online, accessing cell phone service along the stunning 30A stretch should be hassle-free. While some areas may have weaker signals, overall connectivity is good. Our internet service is top-notch, though there may still be occasional imperfections.
Will there be a golf cart at the house?
While we don't provide golf carts for safety purposes, you have the convenience of renting one from the various local shops along 30A. Renting a golf cart can be a fun and convenient way to make the most of your time here, giving you the freedom to roam and discover all the hidden gems that this charming location has to offer. Remember to adhere to local traffic guidelines and safety precautions while enjoying your golf cart adventure along 30A.
Do you allow smoking or e-cigarettes in the house?
No. Smoking is not allowed inside of the house. A $200 fine will be imposed if any one smokes inside during your stay.
Absolutely! 30A offers a variety of activities that are perfect for toddlers. You can take your little one to the beach to build sandcastles, splash in the gentle waves, and collect seashells. There are also several parks in the area with playgrounds where your toddler can run around and play. If you're looking for indoor fun, you can visit kid-friendly attractions like children's museums or indoor play spaces. Right across the street at The Big Chill, there are always kid-friendly activities taking place!
